While working on Assignment 5: PowerPoint interaction I feel as if I have acquired new skills. One new skill I acquired working on this assignment was creating a game via PowerPoint. I did not know prior to this assignment that educators use PowerPoint to create educational games for their classes. I did not like how difficult this assignment felt. I felt as if it was a a higher weighted assignment but it wasn’t and it had a lot of tutorials to follow. Data collection tools are very useful for teachers and I think I will use them in the future when I’m an educator. A data collection tool I plan on using is Qualtrics in my second grade classroom. I would use this for feedback from the parents of my students. I think its important to get constant feedback and communication with parents and this way it is easy and accessible.
